| Q. Why do I need Neighbourhood web? |
| A.
So that your Local Authority can adhere to the Community Information
requirements as outlined in the National Strategy Transformation
Agenda for Local Authorities in England and implement priority
outcomes by December 2005 |
| Q.
How much does Neighbourhood web Cost? |
| A.
From £9,950 - more pricing
info |
| Q. Do
I need a licence for each user of Neighbourhood web? |
| A.
No, the price covers all web users within a single District Council. |
| Q.
How do we know the content of user's sites will not offend? |
A. It
won't, the site is self-policing. Within each page created by users
there is a tab which links to a form, which can be completed by
offended site visitors. This complaint is then relayed back to
you and the site owner can be penalised accordingly. Experience
to date shows that users do not post offensive material, partly
because they know the "offended by this page" button
appears on every page.
